„I have acute toothache and, as a pain patient, wanted to make an appointment. Unfortunately, I was told on the phone that the practice is generally no longer accepting new patients, even for pain management. When I pointed out that patients in pain cannot be turned away for medical reasons, I was simply referred to the emergency room. Even a simple discussion about possible options was impossible, as they simply emphasized that there was no capacity. I understand that practices are reaching their organizational limits, but a minimum level of medical care should still be guaranteed, especially for acute complaints. This experience was very disappointing for me and unfortunately did not leave the impression that patients in urgent situations would receive support.“
